Thanks for Knowledge...:)

how can we assume values for a and b? is it random or is their a pattern?

The given formula applies to ALL values of a and b.

This is great and also the reinforcement activities. I have doubt in solving the following activity.

Thanks

I checked my solution to that question, I'm not sure how to elaborate any further.
Can you tell me what part of my solution is causing you difficulties?

Hello brent;
First of all, i want to thank you for these amazing videos.
Second, my question is that do i have to answer each question correctly to get at least 320?
Is it more about the difficulty of the question? "Difficult questions have more weight than medium or easy"
Third; any suggestions on how to practice? should i focus on hard or medium questions?

Hi Aziz,

The first thing to do is determine the best way for YOU to reach a combined score of 320.
For example, if your math skills are stronger than your verbal skills, you might aim for a Q165 and a V155.
Conversely, if your verbal scores are much stronger than your math skills, you might aim for something like Q152 and V168.
And so on.

Taking a practice test early in your studies will help identify your strengths and weaknesses, and this will help you determine reasonable target scores.

Once you have your TARGET quantitative and verbal scores, then I suggest you begin by answering practice questions at your PRESENT skill level, and eventually move up to answering questions in your TARGET SCORE level.

For example, let's say your baseline GRE practice test scores are Q155 and V145, and you're aiming for a Q165 and a V155. When answering quantitative practice questions, start by answering questions in the 150-159 range (i.e., your PRESENT skill level), and once you've successfully answered a few questions in that difficulty range, move up to answering questions in the 160-170 range (i.e., your TARGET SCORE skill level).

The same strategy applies to the verbal section as well.

Does that help?
